Cependant, au milieu de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, l\u2019objectif semblait difficile \u00e0 atteindre. Alors que le trafic et la valeur moyenne des r\u00e9servations augmentaient, <strong>la baisse des conversions \u00e9tait soup\u00e7onn\u00e9e d&rsquo;\u00eatre li\u00e9e \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me de disponibilit\u00e9 des h\u00f4tels.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La question est de prouver et d&rsquo;estimer l&rsquo;impact de la p\u00e9nurie d&rsquo;occupation sur le taux de conversion.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Approche<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9quation de march\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alors que la premi\u00e8re chose serait de v\u00e9rifier l\u2019effet du volume de trafic et de la valeur moyenne des r\u00e9servations sur la conversion \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une \u00e9quation de march\u00e9 classique (voir d\u00e9mo par d\u00e9faut de DataMa), nous nous concentrerons pour l\u2019instant sur la conversion.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019id\u00e9e est de diviser le taux de conversion en morceaux pour faire appara\u00eetre le facteur taux d\u2019occupation. Cependant, le taux d\u2019occupation est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un concept hors ligne, qui n\u2019est pas directement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la conversion en ligne.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La complexit\u00e9 du taux d&rsquo;occupation ou de l&rsquo;analyse des stocks dans les voyages est que l&rsquo;occupation d&rsquo;un jour donn\u00e9 (le nombre de chambres disponibles divis\u00e9 par le nombre total de chambres) est diff\u00e9rente en fonction de la fen\u00eatre de r\u00e9servation ou du d\u00e9lai de r\u00e9servation, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire la distance entre le jour de la recherche et le jour de la r\u00e9servation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heureusement, le client dispose d&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0event\u00a0\u00bb personnalis\u00e9 dans son outil d&rsquo;analyse web (Google Analytics) qui indique <strong>la disponibilit\u00e9 de cet h\u00f4tel<\/strong> (Disponible\/ Partiellement disponible\/ Non disponible) <strong>pour chaque page d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel consult\u00e9e<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette \u00e9quation de march\u00e9 est la suivante, et nous avons deux options pour aborder notre probl\u00e8me du point de vue d&rsquo;un ensemble de donn\u00e9es<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"618\" height=\"276\" src=\"https:\/\/www.datama.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/UCOTM4-MarketEquation.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/datama.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/UCOTM4-MarketEquation.png 618w, https:\/\/datama.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/UCOTM4-MarketEquation-300x134.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dataset<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans ce cas d&rsquo;usage, les donn\u00e9es proviennent de Google Analytics et sont stock\u00e9es dans Google BigQuery. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 partir de l\u00e0, nous pouvons cr\u00e9er une logique SQL pour classer chaque session par disponibilit\u00e9, au niveau de la session, afin de ne pas dupliquer les donn\u00e9es.<br\/>Il existe essentiellement 4 types de disponibilit\u00e9 pour une session :<br\/>1\/ Non atteint = Ne pas acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une page d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel<br\/>2\/ Non disponible = Acc\u00e9dez uniquement aux pages d&rsquo;h\u00f4tels indisponibles<br\/>3\/ Partiellement disponible = Acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une page d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel partiellement disponible, mais pas enti\u00e8rement disponible<br\/>4\/ Disponible = Atteindre au moins une page d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel disponible<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comme nous souhaitons \u00e9galement pouvoir ventiler les r\u00e9sultats et l\u2019impact par march\u00e9 et par appareil, nous ajouterons \u00e9galement ces deux dimensions. La part des sessions atteignant uniquement les r\u00e9sultats des pages d&rsquo;h\u00f4tels indisponibles a consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9, et elles se convertissent \u00e9videmment tr\u00e8s mal, ce qui a donc un impact \u00e9vident sur la conversion.
